BetMGM on Wednesday said it has launched the Borgata Casino app in Pennsylvania.
The sports betting and online gaming operator previously launched BetMGM Casino in the Keystone State in December.
The expansion into Pennsylvania was achieved via a market access partnership with Rivers Casino Philadelphia, the company explained.
According to BetMGM, the Borgata Casino app features a variety of games, including more than 150 slots and table games, such as Premium Blackjack Pro and MGM Grand Millions. There will be a progressive jackpot, linked to slot offerings and available to players in Pennsylvania, starting at $300,000.
The company said BetMGM is integrated with MGM Resorts' M life Rewards program, meaning Borgata Casino customers in Pennsylvania will be able to redeem their gameplay for accommodations at MGM Resorts properties nationwide, such as Bellagio and MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Borgata in New Jersey, and MGM National Harbor in Maryland.
“There are few casino brands as well-respected as Borgata, as evidenced by the success we have seen with the Borgata Casino app in New Jersey,” BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said in a statement.
Greenblatt described the Pennsylvania market as an “important milestone” for the company as it takes the Borgata Casino brand to the first state outside of New Jersey.
“We are confident that players in Pennsylvania will enjoy the digital betting experience of Atlantic City's premier casino,” he declared.
Borgata Casino is available for download on iOS and Android, and accessible via desktop.
BetMGM is the result of a 2018 partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc, and it has exclusive access to all of MGM's U.S. land-based and online sports betting, major tournament poker, and online gaming businesses. It is available via brands such as BetMGM, Borgata Casino, Party Casino and Party Poker.
BetMGM is headquartered in New Jersey.
