Treasure Island to become part of Accor’s Handwritten Collection in late 2025

The newly franchised property will become the second hotel casino within the US to join the Handwritten Collection, following Hotel Stratford San Francisco’s rebranding in 2024.

Following a new franchise partnership formed between the hospitality operator and Treasure Island Owner Phil Ruffin on July 23, Accor will soon add the property to its Handwritten Collection later in 2025, marking the second hotel-casino within the US to join the global brand.
The property will reportedly be renamed Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Handwritten Collection, as the partnership with Accor includes brand support along with the company’s full offering of services such as sales & marketing, distribution and loyalty.
“The city’s tagline is ‘What happens here, only happens here’, and certainly there is no other place in the world where a collaboration of this scale and significance could come together. The union of Treasure Island and Handwritten Collection creates a one-of-a-kind guest journey, where connections are treasured, wonder is discovered and every stay is a narrative waiting to unfold,” Accor Global Chief Development Officer Camil Yazbeck said.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with Mr. Ruffin and confident that together we can create a bigger and bolder future for this iconic hotel now that it sits within the Handwritten Collection portfolio and part of the Accor network.”
In 2024, Hotel Stratford San Francisco officially rebranded to Hotel Stratford San Francisco – Handwritten Collection, as the new launches are said to “further increase” Accor’s presence in North America.
Good to know: The Royal Resort in Las Vegas has been scheduled for demolition at the end of August 2025, according to a local report released in the Las Vegas Review-Journal on July 22

As the latest entrant to Accor’s Handwritten Collection, Treasure Island – TI Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Handwritten Collection will join over 25 hotels and more than 35 addresses currently operating under the brand.
Accor also reported Treasure Island has recently undergone a multi-million-dollar update to enhance its comfort experience for guests as well as introduce new designs for the property.
