Jim Mackey to step down as VIP Play CFO
He will leave his position next month.

VIP Play has released a statement that its Chief Financial Officer, Jim Mackey, will be leaving the company.
VIP Play said it has started looking for a successor during this transition.
Mackey will officially step down from his role as CFO on August 8, 2025. He has agreed to assist in the transition process, as well as in finding someone to take on his role.
Company CEO Les Ottolenghi took a moment to wish Mackey well.
He commented, “We thank Jim for his contributions to the Company, particularly during a transformative period for our business.
“We remain focused on executing our strategic priorities, including financial visibility, operating efficiency and delivering value to our stakeholders.”
The Company said it “reaffirms its financial guidance previously provided and will provide updates as appropriate.”
VIP Play hold sports betting and iGaming licenses in West Virginia and operates its proprietary technology platform in Tennessee. The company offers its clients access to a sportsbook, sweepstakes contests and other social features.
VIP Play said it remains committed to “upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance and responsible gaming.”
In other executive personnel news, Mexican casino game developer Dreidel recently appointed Elias Liberas to the role of Chief Commercial Officer.
His responsibilities will include relationship development with operator and supplier partners, as well as overseeing how the company serves players and casinos.
