Monarch Casino & Resort Q2 2025 revenue reaches $136.9m, net income grows 19.1%

Monarch Casino & Resort has reported its financial performance throughout the second quarter of 2025, having generated a net revenue of $136.9m for the period, equating to an increase of 6.8% year-over-year, while net income grew 19.1% for a total of $27m.
The operator’s casino segment drove the most revenue for Q2 2025, producing $79.6m for an increase of 12.1% from the prior year period. Food & beverage accounted for an additional $32.2m and grew by 1.1% year-over-year, but Monarch Casino & Resort’s hotel revenue decreased by 3.1% from the prior year period for a total of $19.1m in Q2 2025.
“Monarch delivered record second quarter financial results. Net revenue increased 6.8% year-over-year to $136.9 million, driven by strong casino revenues, which rose 12.1% over the same period a year-ago,” Monarch Casino & Resort John Farahi said.
“Our focus on technology and operational efficiencies drove an operating margin increase of approximately 320 basis points over the prior year period to a second quarter Adjusted EBITDA margin of 37.5%. Adjusted EBITDA increased 16.8% year-over year to $51.3 million.”
As stated by Farahi, Monarch Casino & Resort’s adjusted EBITDA for Q2 2025 was reported to be $51.3m, representing growth of 16.8% from the prior year period. The operator witnessed a $4m increase in operating expenses throughout the period when compared to Q2 2024, however, costing a total of just over $102m.

Income from operations for Monarch Casino & Resort still managed to increase by 18.4% from the prior year period, having generated $34.9m for Q2 2025. The company also repurchased over 240,000 shares of its common stock in the second quarter of 2025, paying an aggregate amount of $19.8m through its share repurchase plan.
Monarch Casino & Resort also released its financial performance throughout H1 2025, with net revenue increasing by 5% year-over-year to $262.3m, while net income was reported to be $46.9m and grew by 14.4% from the prior year period. The operator’s adjusted EBITDA for H1 2025 was reported to be just over $92.4m, representing an increase of 12.1% year-over-year.
