The betting sector in São Paulo is undergoing preparation to formalise its own industry representation.
After operators recently proposed Febrabet, a unified Federation for the national betting sector, Brazil’s official Federal Journal has confirmed that the founding assembly for the Union of Betting Operators and Online Games of the State of São Paulo (Sindibets/SP) will take place by the end of July.
Items on the agenda include the formal creation of the union, approval of its social statute, election of the first executive board, description of the fiscal council and definition of its territorial and legal scope.
Besides that, the Sindibets/SP meeting also aims to approve the union’s official address, category description and funding structure.
The entire electoral process will follow established legal protocols, including vote tallying, validation of candidates and documentation of white or null votes.
