Authorities in Buenos Aires have initiated a coordinated effort to combat illegal gambling activities across the province following multiple anonymous complaints.
As part of the investigation, the Commission for the Prevention and Repression of Illegal Gambling, a taskforce made up of police officers and officials from the Buenos Aires Provincial Lottery, conducted raids on several properties located in La Plata, Quilmes, La Matanza and Lomas de Zamora.
These locations were allegedly being used to run unauthorized physical and online betting operations.
