DigiPlus to launch operations in Brazil this fall

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has announced plans to launch its Brazil operations in September and said the company is on task for this move. The company hopes this initiative will be an opportunity for new sources of growth and “unlock a gaming market twice the size of the Philippines.”
DigiPlus has been preparing to bring its content to the region throughout the year and recently installed an operations manager ahead of the launch.
The company said in a statement, “This milestone is part of DigiPlus’ strategy to expand its market leadership beyond Southeast Asia by combining secure technology, highly immersive games, and an unwavering commitment to safe, fair and responsible digital entertainment.
“A dedicated local team with deep cultural and regulatory knowledge is already in place in Brazil, ensuring that DigiPlus Brazil delivers not just popular global games, but also high-quality local experiences and responsible gaming. In March, DigiPlus appointed industry specialist Graham Tidey as country manager for its Brazil operations.”
Once live in Brazil, DigiPlus can offer players a wide variety of slots, table games and livestreamed games, as well as exclusive self-developed digital entertainment content.
Company Chairman Eusebio Tanco said DigiPlus is ready to expand its global reach and is eager to bring its content to Latin American players.
Tanco commented, “We are excited to bring world-class entertainment to new markets, bringing the strengths and expertise that we have established in the Philippines.
“Our entry into Brazil is part of our strategic expansion program to usher DigiPlus’ next phase of growth.”
