DraftKings launches new NBA prize pool in support of VetsInTech

Through a newly introduced NBA Playoff pool which includes $5,000 in possible winnings for customers, DraftKings sportsbook has continued its support for VetsInTech, as each pool entry will result in a $5 donation from the operator, up to $50,000.
VetsinTech supports US military veterans by connecting them to education, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities within the tech industry, having received over $3m in support from the sportsbook operator since 2018.
DraftKings has also helped more than 1,000 veterans and military spouses through its Tech for Heroes training program, part of the company’s DK S.E.R.V.E.S program.
During March 2025, DraftKings sportsbook offered a free $50,000 bracket entry for the NCAA Women’s March Madness tournament, with first place receiving a grand prize of $5,000 while second and third were each awarded $1,000.

The contest allowed users to pick the results of the NCAA Women’s college basketball tournament games for a chance at winning cash prizes, with each correct selection giving users points designated by which round a team won.
