Random State gains iGaming licence in Ontario

A Canadian partnership is expected to be announced soon by the company.

Random State has received an iGaming licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), allowing the supplier to enter one of North America’s most tightly regulated and valuable markets. With this approval, the company now has the green light to offer its digital gaming solutions in Canada’s most populous province.

Random State has developed gamified iLottery and iBingo products to modern audiences with a team that includes former lottery executives and international gaming specialists. Its technology includes player account management systems, random number generators and customizable gameplay mechanics.

The company currently works with clients across Europe and the US and is now aiming to expand its presence in Canada. Ontario remains the only Canadian province with a fully regulated iGaming market open to private operators. The market is overseen by the AGCO and its subsidiary iGaming Ontario, which has set out strict licensing standards, with currently over 40 regulated operators. With this approval, Random State joins a growing number of international suppliers expanding into the region.
