Sportvip Group International gains license to operate in Brazil

The Secretary of Prizes and Betting at Brazil’s Ministry of Finance (SPA-MF) has authorized Sportvip Group International Apostas to operate fixed-odds sports betting and online games across both physical and digital channels.
The announcement was formalized and published in the Official Gazette, covering three distinct brands, EsportivaVip, CBesportes and DonosDaBola; this permits activities within the sports-themed betting and online gaming segments.
The approval grants operational rights to the company until May 2030, based on the provisions outlined in Brazilian Laws 13.756/2018 and 14.790/2023.
Sportvip Group International has its headquarters in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo and the company lists multiple administrators.
Good to know: Sportvip’s approval is part of Brazil’s ongoing licensing rollout, which has now reached 80 authorised licences and 177 approved brands regarding betting platforms
In a related development, the SPA-MF has also approved the rebranding of Ana Gaming Brasil S.A.’s properties. The brands Bet7K, CassinoPix and Bet Vera will now operate under the simplified names 7K, Cassino and Vera, respectively, with new associated domains.
The authorisation granted to Sportvip Group takes place in parallel with an ongoing Supreme Court review of Brazil’s new betting legislation.
The top court is currently evaluating whether two specific restrictions, one on cross-state licensing and another on advertising reach, should remain suspended.
