Missouri increases casino revenue 9% to $169.1m for April 2025

The Missouri Gaming Commission has published the financial performance throughout April 2025 for casinos located within the state, having witnessed a 9% increase year-over-year for a total revenue of $169.1m.
The figure was primarily driven by slot revenue, which increased 5% from the prior year period to $140.8m, while table game revenue grew by 33% year-over-year to $28.3m.
Only three casinos in Missouri reported decreases in April revenue year-over-year, including Argosy Casino Riverside, Century Casino Cape and Mark Twain Casino, which fell by 4%, 11% and 4%, respectively. Argosy managed to generate $13.4m of revenue for April 2025, with Century Cape adding $5.4m and Mark Twain Casino producing $2.8m as well.
Of the 13 casinos which report to the Missouri Gaming Commission, Ameristar Casino Resort St. Charles was able to generate the highest revenue figure with a total of $26.2m for April 2025, representing an increase of 9% year-over-year.
Hollywood Casino St. Louis and River City Casino Hotel were close runner-ups to Ameristar, having generated revenue totals of $21.7m and $22.6m, respectively, for increases of 10% and 7% from the prior year period.

Century Casino Caruthersville and Harrah’s Kansas City also witnessed significant growth in revenue for April 2025, as Century Caruthersville increased by 19% from the prior year period to $4.8m and Harrah’s Kansas City produced just over $18.8m for an increase of 47%.
The Missouri Gaming Commission reported a table game drop of $123.4m throughout April 2025, while slot games generated nearly $1.5bn of handle for the period, leading to win percentages of 22.9% and 9.6% for casinos.
