OLG names Caesars as service provider for Windsor Casino

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has named Caesars Entertainment as the official service provider in the Windsor Casino procurement process, representing the final step in the OLG’s land-based gaming modernization initiative.
“We are thrilled to be selected as the service provider for the Windsor Casino by the OLG. Caesars has a long history of managing Windsor and looks forward to continuing to deliver exceptional guest service and experiences at the property,” Caesars CEO Tom Reeg said.

On April 30, 2025, it was announced Caesars is set to introduce its new Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino property this summer as part of a $160m renovation of the currently standing Harveys Lake Tahoe in Nevada.
Good to know: Caesars released its financial results from the first quarter of 2025 on April 29, including a rise in net revenue of 2.1% from the prior year period to $2.8bn, as well as a net loss of $115m which actually equates to a 29% decrease from the $158m loss reported during Q1 2024
The $160m renovation will include upgrades to accommodations, dining and gaming options while also featuring a new contemporary design for Harveys Lake Tahoe, which will remain open until July 1 when the resort will officially transition to Caesars Republic.
The renovations at Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe will continue throughout 2025, pausing during the summer season, with the entire project set to be completed by mid-2026.
