Nevada gaming win falls 1.1% during March 2025 to just under $1.3bn

The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has released the state’s gaming win throughout the month of March 2025, with the total having decreased by 1.1% year-over-year to almost $1.3bn during the period.
While Nevada’s Clark County area, which includes the Las Vegas strip and Downtown, generated the highest amount of gaming win by far with over $1.1bn reported for March 2025, the figure also represents a decrease of 1.8% from the prior year period.
Washoe County reported a March 2025 gaming win of $81.8m, equating to an increase of 7% year-over-year, while Elko County generated $37.1m of gaming win, growing by 1.5% from the prior year period.
The Las Vegas strip witnessed a gaming win decrease of 1.8% year-over-year to account for $681.7m throughout the period, while the Downtown area managed to increase its gaming win by 11.6% to generate $85m. Reno generated the vast majority of Washoe County’s gaming during March 2025, accounting for nearly $57.7m while increasing by 10.9% from the prior year period.
The South Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley areas reported gaming wins of just over $14.7m and almost $11.6m throughout March 2025, respectively, with South Lake Tahoe decreasing by 7.2% year-over-year while Carson Valley grew by 2.6% from the prior year period.
For which game types generated the most revenue for Nevada during March 2025, slot machines once again out-produced table games with a gaming win of $918.8m throughout the period, representing an increase of 5.1% year-over-year.
Multi-denomination slots were notably popular amongst consumers during the period, accounting for nearly $672.3m of gaming win and increasing by 17.2% from the prior year period.

Table games generated $357.4m of gaming win for March 2025, equating to a decrease of 14.1% year-over-year, while blackjack remained as the highest grosser or revenue with a reported total of $98.9m.
Each table game offering witnessed decreases in gaming win from the prior year period outside of Ultimate Texas Hold’em (6.5%), Three-Card Poker (0.1%), Pai Gow Poker (2.4%) and Card Games (8%).
Mobile sports betting gaming win decreased by 40.2% year-over-year to account for $15.6m of March 2025 revenue, while wagering on basketball produced $24.5m of gaming win despite falling by 24.2% from the prior year period.
