Missouri casino revenue hits $177.9m throughout March 2025

The Missouri Gaming Commission has released the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) for each casino property located within the state throughout March 2025, including a total AGR of $177.9m, which represents an increase of 1% from the prior year period.
Despite the slight increase in total AGR during the month, only five properties in Missouri reported growth in the category from the prior year period. Century Casino Caruthersville witnessed the highest increase in AGR at 17% year-over-year, equating to a monthly total of $5.5m, while River City Casino in St. Louis grew by 8% for a total of $24.7m.
Horseshoe Casino, also located in St. Louis, increased its AGR by 7% year-over-year to report $14.9m during March 2025, as Hollywood Casino and Isle of Capri Casino grew by 4% and 1% from the prior year period, respectively, for totals of $22.6m and just over $8m.
While Ameristar St. Charles generated the highest AGR of any property in Missouri with a reported $26.5m during March 2025, the figure represents an increase of just under $100k from what had been generated throughout the prior year period. Century Casino Cape reported the highest decrease in AGR year-over-year for the period, falling by 8% to generate $6.3m.
Argosy Casino & Hotel generated $15.4m during March 2025 while Bally’s Kansas City reported $12.3m of AGR for the period, but the figures equate to decreases of 6% and 2% year-over-year, respectively.
Harrah’s Kansas City managed to witness a fall in AGR of just 1% from the prior year period, reporting a total of nearly $15.2m for March 2025. Mark Twain Casino generated just $3.3m of AGR during March 2025, representing a decrease of 5% year-over-year.

Table game AGR managed to witness an increase in AGR of 2% year-over-year during March 2025, reporting $24.6m and a hold percentage of 21.4% throughout the period. Ameristar St. Charles generated the most table game AGR of any property in Missouri for March 2025, but fell 2% year-over-year for a total of $4.6m.
AGR for slots also increased year-over-year during March 2025, rising by 1% from the prior year period for a total of just under $153.3m, including a hold percentage of 9.7%.
Ameristar St. Charles once again drove the highest revenue of any property, generating a slots AGR of $21.9m, increasing its total by 1% year-over-year. River City Casino was not far behind, having generated $21m of slots revenue for an increase of 5% from the prior year period.
