The MGCB has issued cease-and-desist orders to 11 illegal offshore gambling websites found to be operating without necessary state licenses. The websites, which included Shazam Casino, Highway Casino, SlotsRoom, Ruby Slots Casino, Las Atlantis Casino, Bet Big Dollar Casino, Blood Moon Casino, Spinfinity, Jumba Bet Casino, Grand Eagle Online Casino and DogsFortune, violated Michigan’s gaming laws by offering gambling services to residents without proper authorization.
The MGCB took action after investigations revealed these unlicensed sites were engaging in practices such as withholding winnings and imposing unreasonable wagering requirements. Many users reported being unable to access their funds after meeting conditions that were complicated or impossible to fulfill.
The MGCB states that residents should check whether any online gambling sites they are going to use are licensed by the state. Anyone who suspects illegal gambling activity should report it to the MGCB immediately.
