IGT signs four-year contract extension with Kentucky Lottery Corporation

International Game Technology (IGT) has announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, has agreed a four-year contract extension with the Kentucky Lottery Corporation.

Under the agreement, IGT will continue to provide its iLottery platform and mobile app to Kentucky Lottery’s existing portfolio, while also providing new IGT PlayLottery content. In addition to the digital platform and new games, IGT will offer performance analytics in a bid to identify specific opportunities for iLottery growth.

“When we first introduced iLottery games with IGT in 2016, we offered three draw games and five instant play games,” said Kentucky Lottery president and CEO Mary Harville.

“Extending our contract with IGT allows us to grow our portfolio to offer a total of eight draw games, including three new ones to the digital space, and more than a hundred compelling instant play games that will entertain players and contribute to the Lottery's record-breaking annual sales growth.”

IGT first began providing its PlayLottery products for the Kentucky Lottery Corporation in 2016, before agreeing a two-year iLottery extension in 2020. The latest agreement will see the partnership continue until 2026.

IGT PlayDigital SVP Enrico Drago added: “Now more than ever, lotteries are looking to evolve the traditional lottery player experience through the introduction of iLottery play; and IGT is excited to help the Kentucky Lottery benefit from the evolution of its digital games portfolio.”
