Arizona Tribal gaming contributions reach $30.8m during FY2025

The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has published a report on contributions made to the Arizona Benefits Fund during the third quarter of the 2025 fiscal year.
The regulator reported that the Arizona Benefits Fund received more than $30.8m in Tribal gaming contributions during the quarter.
This quarter’s total increased by 7.9% when compared to results posted during the same period one year ago.
In a breakdown of the funds contributed, education and instructional improvement received nearly $15.4m, trauma and emergency services almost $7.7m, ADG operating costs $2.8m, wildlife conservation $2.2m, tourism $2.2m and problem gambling treatment programs close to $0.6m.
The ADG said funds received from Tribal gaming “provide significant dollars to support instructional improvement in schools, trauma and emergency care, tourism and wildlife conservation throughout the state.”
Good to know: Currently, Arizona is home to 26 Class III casinos
Under the terms of the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact, “Tribes with casinos also contribute a percentage of their Class III gross gaming revenue to cities, towns and counties.”
These are regulated by the ADG in collaboration with Tribes within the state.
The state’s benefits fund receives 88% of the contributions made by Tribal gaming.
A percentage of Tribal contributions from Class III gross gaming revenue also goes to cities, towns and counties throughout the state.
These latest figures from the fiscal year bring the fund’s total contributions up to $2.34bn since 2004.
