Bitline, Everi and Choctaw Casinos & Resorts have partnered to introduce cryptocurrency as a new way for casino patrons to liquify their winnings.
The new service will officially roll out today. Choctaw’s Durant, Oklahoma location will be the site for the first transaction.
The trio said this collaboration marks a milestone moment the United States gaming.
The group said in a statement, “This collaboration introduces cryptocurrency and digital assets as a new source of liquidity for casino patrons and marks the first time that such a functionality has been enabled within the American gaming industry.”
Choctaw Casinos & Resorts Senior Director of Cage and Credit Thomas McDonald said the casino resort is eager to bring this payment option to its customers.
He said, “We are excited to be the first casino in North America to offer our guests another way to play.
“Through our long-term relationship with Everi, a leader in fintech solutions, we will continue to invest in innovative offerings that provide the discerning gaming VIP access to funds in a safe and secure manner.”
Bitline CEO Richard Jones described this collaboration as a “historical moment.”

Everi SVP Product Management, Payments Solutions Victor Newsom explained the potential advantages crypto payment options can bring to the resorts’ players.
