Federal Court rules in favor of Lottery.com
The CEO said he is delighted with the decision.

The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida has dismissed all claims against digital lottery and sports entertainment company Lottery.com.
The company said the ruling “underscores the necessity of credible evidence in legal disputes. By dismissing the case with prejudice, the Court has closed this matter, effectively bringing an end to the litigation.”
Sharon A. McTurk, along with several affiliates, had filed the suit against Lottery.com on allegations of fraudulent misrepresentation, negligent misrepresentation, aiding and abetting and conspiracy.
The court granted a motion to dismiss for “failure to state a claim in the case,” with prejudice.
Lottery.com said in a statement, “Plaintiffs claimed that McTurk was promised shares of the Company’s common stock at below market price in exchange for financial backing.
“However, after a comprehensive review, the Court found that the allegations failed to meet the most basic legal standards and could not proceed.”
Company Chairman and CEO Matthew McGahan shared his thoughts on the judge’s ruling by saying, “I am delighted with the honorable judge’s decision. The case required the company to allocate financial resources and extraordinary amounts of time that would have been better spent on our turnaround efforts and operations. Many untruths were told in this story that caused immense stress for both me and my family.
“This ruling has vindicated me and the Company. I am happy that we can focus on building for the future and delivering value to our shareholders.”
