Joe Lodise will serve as senior vice president and general manager of Caesars Atlantic City, while Gregg Klein will take the same position at nearby Harrah’s Resort.
The Associated Press reports Lodise and Klein will replace Ron Baumann, who had managed both properties as Caesars’ regional CEO of Atlantic City.
Lodise arrives in Atlantic City from Mississippi, where he spent the last several years as assistant general manager at the Horseshoe Tunica. Lodise previously worked at Caesars’ Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, where he served as vice president of finance and before that operations controller.
Lodise has worked for Caesars since 2007.
Klein joined Eldorado Resorts in July 2018 and moved to Caesars amidst the two companies’ merger. He brings with him two decades of experience in the gaming industry including for the past two and a half years vice president of operations overseeing resorts in Iowa, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Lodise and Klein will be responsible for improving revenue at the two properties. In 2020, Harrah’s dropped 47% ($166m), while Caesars was down 44% ($152m).
