Daniele Chilton set to take over as Desert Diamond Casino CEO on February 21

Chilton will become the first Tohono O’odham Nation Tribal member to serve as CEO of Desert Diamond Casino in a permanent capacity.

The Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise has appointed Daniele Chilton as CEO of Desert Diamond Casino, who is set to assume her new position on February 21, 2025 and oversee all five Desert Diamond Casino properties.
Chilton will also become the first Tohono O’odham Nation Tribal member to serve as CEO of Desert Diamond Casino in a permanent capacity, which is owned and operated by the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise.
“It is an honor to be selected to lead this incredible organization. As a Tribal member and long-time team member, I am committed to our mission of creating greater economic opportunity for the Tohono O’odham Nation and providing top-tier experiences for our guests,” Chilton said.
Desert Diamond Casinos are currently located throughout southern Arizona and Phoenix, including Tucson, White Tanks and the West Valley. Daniele succeeds former CEO Mike Bean, who was said to have overseen “successive years of significant growth” for the company’s gaming operations during his near four-year tenure.

Chilton most recently served as the COO of Desert Diamond Casino, gaining experience in overseeing the five properties and its near 4,000 team members.
