The online casino and sportsbook will be available for customers in Michigan to play at GoldenNuggetCasino.com and via Android and IOS apps, from 12pm Eastern Time this Friday after being given the green light from the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB)
Earlier this week, it was announced that online sports betting will go live in Michigan on 22 January, with the state also becoming the fourth to launch online casino gaming.
GNOG, which has operated in New Jersey since 2013, will offer its sportsbook through a partnership with the Ojibwa Casino and the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community (KBIC). The operator will also launch a new version of its online sportsbook, using the Open Sports platform from Scientific Games.
GNOG president Thomas Winter said: "We are really excited to go live in Michigan and are committed to offering a superior product, flawless execution and world-class player experience like we have done in New Jersey.”
Ojibwa Casino general manager Larry Denomie III added: "We look forward to our partnership with the Golden Nugget. Their launch highlights our commitment in bringing an exceptional online casino and sportsbook experience to our patrons in Michigan.”
