Key points:

- Miami Live! is projected to open in 2026 and feature indoor-outdoor dining as well as entertainment spaces for patrons

- The Marlins organization also stated that the project will be built while prioritizing sustainability and inclusivity

The Miami Marlins professional baseball team will debut the new Miami Live! entertainment and hospitality space in partnership with the Cordish Companies during 2026. The development will include indoor-outdoor dining and entertainment spaces aimed at “fostering community and elevating the fan experience.”

With this development, the Marlins and the Cordish Companies will attempt to contribute to the local community by generating new employment opportunities across various sectors including skilled trades, marketing, sales and operations.

"It is with great excitement and pride that we announce the transformation of the West Plaza with Miami Live! – a communal space reinvigorated to bring joy and excitement to our fans and neighbors with opportunities for engagement," Miami Marlins Principal Owner and Chairman Bruce Sherman said.

"This project represents our commitment to our community, as we develop our ballpark's campus to feature dining, entertainment and gathering options for everyone to enjoy. We are thrilled to have a well-renowned partner in The Cordish Companies, who are industry leaders with a great reputation in South Florida as well as across the sports and entertainment landscape nationally.”

"The Cordish Companies is honored to have been selected by the Miami Marlins as their development partner in this dynamic vision for loanDepot park," Cordish Companies Chairman and CEO David Cordish said.

"We are proud to join our partners, as well as Miami-Dade County, to deliver a transformational world-class project that has lasting impacts on the community through job creation, economic benefits, exceptional new first-class amenities and year-round activations and experiences. Miami Live! will become the living room for the community and offer a new year-round gathering place for locals and visitors alike."

Miami Live! was also said to be prioritizing sustainability and inclusivity in its design as part of the Marlins’ ongoing commitment to fostering community spirit.
