Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course will be opening new ESPN Bet retail sportsbooks at both of its properties in York and Grantville in Pennsylvania. ESPN Bet has been available online in the Keystone State since November 2023, but residents will now be able to place bets in person at the two announced locations.

The operator originally launched in 2023 after Penn Entertainment signed a 10-year exclusive rights agreement with ESPN during August, agreeing to pay the sports network $1.5bn within the contract’s timeframe.

“We’re thrilled to bring the excitement of ESPN Bet to life with the launch of our new retail sportsbook,” Hollywood Casino VP and GM Tony Frabbiele said.

“This partnership combines the trusted ESPN brand with our world-class gaming and entertainment experience, creating a premier destination for sports fans to watch, wager and win.”

Hollywood Casino also stated that it expects several ESPN Bet-branded retail sportsbook locations to open across Penn Entertainment properties in Pennsylvania throughout 2025.

Good to know: Penn Entertainment announced the launch of its new Hollywood Casino app in Pennsylvania on December 18, with plans to expand the offering in additional jurisdictions throughout the new year

“Our partnership with ESPN Bet reflects our commitment to offering the very best to our guests. Whether you’re a seasoned bettor or just here to enjoy the atmosphere, this state-of-the-art sportsbook delivers the ultimate sports experience in a setting like no other,” Hollywood Casino York GM Shaun Williams said.

Players residing in Pennsylvania will be able to access the ESPN Bet sportsbooks near the high limit room at the Grantville property, as well as behind the table games within the Hollywood Casino’s York location.
