The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has released the state’s total gaming win for the month of November in 2024, reporting a decrease of 4.2% from the prior year period for a total of $1.3bn.
Only two areas in the state saw year-over-year increases in gaming win throughout the period, including Elko County which was reported to generate $33.7m for an increase of 4.7% and the Carson Valley Area which grew by 2.7% to account for $11.4m of the total gaming win.
The Clark Country area, which reported the most gaming win in Nevada during November by generating nearly $1.2bn, also saw a decrease of 4.2% from the prior year period. This included the Las Vegas strip, which fell by 3.9% year-over-year to report a total of $788.7m.
North Las Vegas and Mesquite managed to report increases in gaming win for the Clark County area, however, seeing rises of 6.1% and 8.8%, respectively, to be $24.5m and $16.4m throughout the month.
Washoe County, including areas such as Reno and North Lake Tahoe, reported a decrease of 6% from the prior year period for a total of just under $76.1m in gaming win. The Reno area saw the only decrease in gaming win year-over-year for Washoe County, falling by nearly 10.5% to report $51.9m during November.

Sparks and North Lake Tahoe were able to increase its gaming win from the prior year period, with the Sparks area reporting close to $15m for an increase of 8%, while North Lake Tahoe grew by 8.9% for a total of $1.8m. South Lake Tahoe, seen as its own area in Nevada, reported a gaming win of $14.4m during November 2024 which represents a decrease of 20.3%.
For the fiscal year-to-date period, running from the start of July through the end of November in 2024, gaming win in Nevada decreased by 2.9% to be reported at nearly $6.4bn.
