Dominican Republic: Royalton Resorts launches labor inclusion program

Royalton Punta Cana in the Domician Republic has debuted a new labor inclusion program called “All-Inclusive Talent,” which is designed to “reinforce the brand’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in the hospitality industry.”
The resort said in a statement, “With the vision of expanding this initiative to other destinations of the brand, All-Inclusive Talent reflects the commitment of Blue Diamond Resorts, the company that manages Royalton Luxury Resorts, to continue leading the way towards a more equitable and humane hotel industry in each destination where it has a presence.”
The program was developed through the collaborative efforts of several institutions that include the Santa Rosa Institute for the Deaf, the Dominican Foundation for the Blind and the Gissell Eusebio Foundation.
“This project represents a significant step towards creating a more equitable and accessible work environment, aligned with the brand’s values,” the resort said in a statement.
The resort recently held an event that welcomed tourism sector and media representatives.
During the event, Blue Diamond Resorts SVP of Operations Daniel Lozano further explained the specifics of the program by saying, “At Royalton Luxury Resorts, excellence goes beyond the luxury of our facilities; it is in our ability to transform lives, break down barriers and demonstrate that talent has no limits.
“This program not only benefits our new hosts, but also their families and communities, generating a positive impact that transcends our doors.”
More than 60 new members attended the event, including those with hearing, visual, motor and intellectual disabilities.
