Full House Resorts appoints new leadership at Rising Star Casino Resort

Full House Resorts has announced that Jeff Michie will become VP and GM of Rising Star Casino Resort in Indiana, replacing Angi Truebner-Webb who will now serve as GM of Silver Slipper Casino Hotel in Mississippi.
Michie joins Rising Star Casino Resort after holding the role of CFO at Casino del Sol, a casino resort located in Tucson, Arizona. As CFO, Michie oversaw the property’s finance, surveillance and golf course departments.
He has also served in senior management positions at several casinos that directly compete with Rising Star, as described in the announcement. The positions include SVP of Operations and Finance at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati and Assistant GM and CFO for Belterra Casino Resort & Spa.
In connection with his hiring, the Compensation Committee of Full House Resorts’ Board of Directors approved a grant of an inducement equity award of 19,921 restricted shares to Michie.
Subject to his continuing service through the vesting dates, one-third of the total number of shares granted will vest on each of November 11, 2025, 2026 and 2027.

On November 6, Full House Resorts reported the company’s financial results for the third quarter of 2024.
Revenue for the company managed to increase 5.8% year-over-year for a total of $75.7m during the third quarter of 2024, with an $8.5m net loss reported for Q3 2024 after a net income of $4.6m was reported in the prior year period.
The company stated that the net loss accounted for pre opening and development costs, a $2m gain on the sale of Stockman’s Casino and depreciation and amortization charges related to its new American Palace and Chamonix facilities.
