SBC Summit Latinoamérica wrapped up its final edition at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino with a remarkable 33% rise in attendance, reflecting the event's increasing influence in the region.

Driven by rising demand, the summit will unite with SBC Summit North America in 2025 to launch as the expansive SBC Summit Americas, premiering in Fort Lauderdale on May 13-15. Bringing together leaders from North, Central, and South America, this enhanced event will serve as a premier hub for collaboration and innovation in the sports betting and iGaming landscape across the Americas.

SBC Summit Latinoamérica has been essential in fostering meaningful connections and empowering industry-wide collaboration for the past four years. Andrea Rossi, Commercial Director for LATAM at Betsson called the event “mandatory” for those seeking to stay informed on the latest trends and regional developments. Fernando Garita, CEO of Betsul, echoed the sentiment, referring to the summit as "the most important event for Latin America," highlighting it as the prime opportunity to connect with key players, tackle industry challenges, and shape the future of the market.

Among the 70 exhibitors at SBC Summit Latinoamérica, ProntoPaga found great success on the buzzing expo floor. "We came with clear goals, and we've checked all our boxes this season," said Elisa Jordan, Chief Commercial Officer. "We’re very pleased with the connections we made and the outcomes from our stand."

Many attendees highlighted SBC’s unique ability to foster both business growth and personal connections. Alex Fonseca, CEO of Superbet Brazil, underscored the value of networking, stating, “The networking is always great, and it saves me a lot of traveling because I can meet all my providers and partners in one place.”

Iliana Pineda, Chief Legal & Compliance Officer from Wplay.co also praised the event for its effective networking atmosphere, noting that “SBC events create environments where networking is both fun and highly productive.”

This unique blend of casual and professional interaction allowed attendees to connect meaningfully with key regional players. With a targeted focus on Latin America, the event offered what Cecilia Valdés, Executive President of the Asociación Chilena de Casinos de Juego, called “a crucial meeting point for the Latin American industry, for both land-based and online casinos,” making it an essential platform for building relationships and advancing regional initiatives.

From the high-energy opening at DAER Day Club to Wednesday’s iconic gathering at Chase Stadium and the Halloween-themed closing party, SBC’s networking events were more than just social gatherings—they were essential for fostering meaningful connections. As Jordan noted, “At SBC Summit Latinoamérica , half the experience is in the networking events… It’s where the real connections happen. And, of course, Latin Americans know how to throw a great party, so it’s exactly where you want to be.”

With an agenda that left no stone unturned, SBC Summit Latinoamérica set a new standard, driving impactful discussions and valuable insights. The lineup of 200 speakers included icons like football legend René Higuita, motorsport driver Tatiana Calderón, Brazilian Senator Irajá Abreu and Yuri Guerra, General Director of the General Directorate of Casino Games and Slot Machines of Peru, each bringing expertise to cover every facet of the gaming landscape.

Rossi emphasized the value of these panels, stating, “Understanding the perspectives of both market operators and regulators is crucial for navigating Latin America’s dynamic regulatory landscape; the panels provided invaluable insights.” Pérez praised SBC's ability to stay relevant, noting that SBC consistently “selects the topics that are more relevant at the moment.” Valdés further highlighted the summit’s broad impact, describing how the panels offer a “comprehensive view of how the industry is evolving across various countries, while also bringing fresh perspectives that add depth to the discussions.”

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, remarked, “It’s been rewarding to see the summit foster not only strong business opportunities but also genuine, lasting connections among industry professionals. As we look forward to launching SBC Summit Americas in 2025, we’re excited to expand this spirit of collaboration across North, Central, and South America—creating a unified hub for innovation and progress in the sports betting and iGaming sectors.”

Support is already building for SBC Summit Americas, with Rossi of Betsson saying, “It’s an appointment I won’t be missing,” and Garita of Betsul calling it “a big opportunity across all of the Americas.” Pérez of Rush Street Interactive highlights the added “fresh relevance” from the North American presence. Pineda of Wplay.co appreciates SBC’s approach to “integrating different markets and roles under one roof,” while ProntoPaga’s Jordan believes the combined scope will “bring the right people together and add energy.”
