Inspired appoints James Richardson as new CFO and CAO

Richardson joins Inspired from Manchester Air Groups, where he oversaw financial operations for London Stansted and East Midlands airports.

Inspired Entertainment has announced the appointment of James Richardson as the company’s new CFO and CAO, effective on January 1, 2025. 

Having most recently served as the Group Commercial Finance Director and Finance Director for Manchester Airports Group, Richardson joins Inspired with almost 30 years of experience in finances and strategic planning.

James’s extensive background in financial reporting and governance for both US and UK publicly listed businesses, his strong financial management and his proven track record for driving growth, value creation and technical accounting expertise make him an ideal fit for our company as we continue to execute our strategic initiatives and deliver value to our shareholders,” Inspired CEO Brooks Pierce said. 

“The combination of James’s leadership and experience across multiple sectors, particularly the gaming industry, will allow him to make an immediate contribution.”

For Manchester Air Groups, Richardson oversaw financial operations for London Stansted and East Midlands airports. He also served as the Global Finance Director for William Hill’s online betting and gaming business, which holds a presence in over 100 jurisdictions.

According to the announcement, Richardson will join the Inspired leadership team and help the company move forward with its next phase of growth.
