Delaware Park Casino breaks ground on $5m slot patio, announces 24/7 table games
The space will provide guests with more than 250 slot machines in an open-air environment.

Delaware Park Casino has broken ground on its new $5m outdoor slot patio, which is set to be completed in the spring of 2025 and follows a $10m renovation of the property’s casino floor, unveiled in early 2024.
“We look forward to offering Delaware’s largest outdoor slot patio,” Delaware Park Casino President and GM Terry Glebocki said.
“This spacious new patio is designed with our guests in mind. They will soon be able to enjoy the outdoors while playing the area’s best selection of slots, all without compromising comfort or excitement.”
The 10,000 sq ft space will provide more than 250 slot machines to guests in an open-air environment. The slot patio will be located adjacent to the casino’s racetrack and designed by WATG-SOSH. Construction is set to be completed by DiSabatino Construction.
VP of Construction, Jeff DiSabatino, spoke on the excitement behind partnering with the property, having said, “We are excited to partner with Delaware Park Casino on a project that will bring expanded services to the patrons of Delaware Park Casino.
“This collaboration brings two strong Delaware businesses together, creating and keeping jobs here in the First State.”
Also, beginning November 8, Delaware Park Casino’s table games will join slots as a round-the-clock offering, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Good to know: Delaware Park Casino announced a number of events for the remainder of 2024, including a Halloween pop-up bar and Festival of Lights
“The move to 24-hour slot operations was well received by our guests and has encouraged players from out of the area to experience all the excitement we have to offer,” Glebocki said.
“With the addition of 24/7 table games, we hope to see many more players join us for what promises to be an exciting holiday season.”
Glebocki, DiSabatino and many other Delaware Park Casino executives celebrated breaking ground on the new space with a ceremony held outside the property.
