DraftKings has announced that NBA Hall-of-Famer Shaquille O’Neal will be joining the operator’s family ahead of the 2024-2025 NBA season. With the regular season tipping off on October 22, O’Neal is set to star in various DraftKings’ marketing initiatives throughout the year.

O’Neal played 19 seasons in the NBA for a number of organizations, having won four NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. He was a 15-time All Star, the 1999-2000 Most Valuable Player (MVP) and a three-time Finals MVP for each title with the Lakers.
After retiring from the sport, O’Neal joined Inside the NBA to become a television personality, helping grow his presence to the point where many companies such as DraftKings feature the 7’1” big man in different marketing strategies.
