New property will start preview days 19 January with grand opening on 11 February.

Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia on Wednesday said it will have a soft opening starting 19 January, with a grand opening to the public on 11 February, pending approval by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

The new property will be located in Philadelphia’s Stadium District.

The resort is limiting attendance at its preview days to current and newly enrolled members of the casino brand’s rewards club who make reservations. This policy will be in place from 19 January to 11 February.

After 11 February at 8:00p.m. Eastern Time, reservations no longer will be required for any guests.

The 510,000 square-foot property will include a 12-story, 208-room hotel, more than 2,100 slots and electronic table games, 150 live-action table games, a 29-table poker room, and a FanDuel sportsbook, along with several dining options.

The property will also host a six-room event center featuring 15,000-square-feet of customizable meeting space to accommodate groups of 12 to 1,000 guests.

“We are beyond excited to go Live! in Philadelphia and bring this gaming and entertainment destination to the heart of the Stadium District,” Joe Billhimer, executive vice president, Cordish Gaming Group, said in a statement.
