G2E 2024: The Venetian welcomes 25,000 gaming professionals

This year’s G2E has drawn to a close, with the event playing host to a record number of international exhibitors this year.

The American Gaming Association (AGA) has released a statement following the conclusion of G2E 2024, detailing that a total of 25,000 gaming delegates were in attendance at this year’s summit.  

Figures released by the AGA highlight an increase in attendance year-over-year, as well as exhibitors arriving from more global regions and regulated gaming jurisdictions than ever previously recorded at the show. G2E 2024 played host to a total of 115 international exhibitors.  

AGA President and CEO Bill Miller reflected on a successful outing for G2E in 2024, saying, “For 24 years, G2E has been the heartbeat of the gaming industry, offering a vital platform for the global gaming community to shape the industry’s future. From land-based operations to sports betting and iGaming, gaming’s continued and remarkable growth has made G2E’s role as the annual industry gathering point more essential than ever.” 

It has been another busy year in the North American market, with G2E signifying the turn into 2024’s fourth and final quarter. In September, research by the AGA revealed a total annual investment of $472m in responsible gaming, a subject which – of course – was covered extensively at G2E 2024 as part of a number of panel discussions and presentations.  

The week of G2E 2024 also saw the 11th edition of the prestigious Global Gaming Awards, which – once again – convened to celebrate the best and brightest the industry had to offer over the last 12 months across the Americas.  

G2E Event Vice President at RX, Korbi Carrison, also commented on G2E’s most recent outing, saying, “Las Vegas is synonymous with gaming, and G2E serves as the central hub for industry professionals from around the world to come together to drive their businesses forward. Each year, we elevate the event to match the evolving landscape of gaming.
