DraftKings teams with Larry Fitzgerald Foundation for breast cancer awareness

The operator and the Foundation launched the Pink ‘Em campaign six years ago to drive contributions for breast cancer support throughout the NFL season.

- The two hope to raise $100,000 this October through free-to-play pick em’ pools ran by DraftKings
DraftKings announced that it has once again partnered with the Larry Fitzgerald Foundation through its DraftKings Serves program with a goal of raising $100,000 for breast cancer research and support for women, men and families impacted by breast cancer.
Since launching the Pink ‘Em campaign six years ago, DraftKings’ annual initiative has raised over $500,000 in donations through free-to-play, pick ‘em pools during the October NFL Sunday game slate.
“There is an enormous community that chooses DraftKings every week of the NFL season to engage with opening kickoffs, final whistles and each play in-between, but we recognize the significance of our reach and platform to go beyond entertainment,” DraftKings North America President Matt Kalish said.
“Together with The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation and our customers, I look forward to achieving this October’s donation goal of $100,000 and supporting a vital cause for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”

Pink ‘Em charity free-to-play pools will be offered during weeks five through nine of the NFL Sunday schedule and customers will be able to pick their team across each matchup to compete for a share of $5,000 in weekly DK Dollar prizes.
For each of the first 20,000 free pool entries weekly, DraftKings will donate $1 to The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation to fund breast cancer research along with support for people and families impacted by this disease.
“I continue to be incredibly impressed with DraftKings and their amazing customers who have made such a meaningful impact for so many people,” Fitzgerald said.
“I’m grateful to everyone who has joined these charitable pools, helping us tackle breast cancer while still enjoying the exciting and responsible gaming experiences that DraftKings provides. Together, we’re making a difference and I’m proud of that.”
Fitzgerald played for 17 seasons in the NFL and should be a Hall of Fame candidate when he is first eligible for voting.
