The Brook partners with Kowloon for new dining destination
Inspired by the Kowloon district in Hong Kong, Nine Dragons offers district favorites amongst different culinary creations.
The Brook, a charity casino located in New Hampshire, has announced a new dining destination in collaboration with the Kowloon restaurant, Nine Dragons. The expansive space features multiple dining areas, private event space and an improved cocktail lounge named Forbidden City.
Forbidden City features signature cocktails, including the “The Year of The Dragon” mai tai and a sharable scorpion bowl, and will play host to regional and national DJ talent.
“Nine Dragons, which is literally the translation of the Cantonese word ‘Kowloon,’ is the perfect metaphor for what we have created with this new restaurant. Nine Dragons, in many ways, takes us back in time, a time when my parents first opened the restaurant in Saugus,” Kowloon Owner Bobby Wong said.
“Despite being smaller in size and menu, the Kowloon captivated the crowds that would come with an imaginative new food and design. But make no mistake about it, Nine Dragons is not Kowloon. It is a totally different culinary and creative experience, though it shares a common history and culture with its older cousin.”
Inspired by the Kowloon district in Hong Kong, The Brook’s newest restaurant offers district favorites alongside a number of culinary creations.
“It has been fantastically fun creating Nine Dragons and Forbidden City with Bob and his managing partners,” The Brook CEO Andre Carrier said.
“All of us at The Brook are humbled to now be a part of the story of this legendary brand. We are very proud of the wonderful culinary and service team we have assembled and we all vow to serve the legacy of great food, great fun and great memories.”
The Brook is also home to the DraftKings sportsbook, the largest of its kind in New England.
