Florida properties will complete rollout of WildCard Wallet by end Q1 2021.

Las Vegas-based gaming technology provider Everi Holdings Inc. said it has adapted its cashless wallet solution for use in casinos operated by Seminole Gaming in Florida.

Everi said it has reached an agreement with the Seminole Tribe of Florida to use a digital wallet powered by Everi’s CashClub solution. The new solution will be known as WildCard Wallet, and will enable electronic game play on the casino floor as well as food and beverage and retail outlet purchases at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and Seminole Classic Casino.

After the initial launch at those two properties, the WildCard Wallet will be rolled out to other Seminole gaming locations, including Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. The two parties say the rollout will be fully completed in the first quarter of 2021.

Everi said its application gives casino patrons the ability to deposit funds into their digital wallet at their convenience via a bank card while they are on site or away from the resort. The company said this allows users to manage their spend limits in support of responsible gaming.

“We are excited to collaborate with the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Hard Rock International for the launch of the WildCard Wallet digital payment option across Seminole gaming locations,” Darren Simmons, EVP and FinTech business leader for Everi, said in a statement.

John Eder, EVP and CFO for Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International added: “Our partnership with Everi for the launch of this cashless funding solution will bolster the security and ease of funding transactions as well as the interoperability with other back office tools to support our operations, such as Anti-Money Laundering, Know Your Customer, and provide tax forms for casino winnings.”
