Jamul Casino appoints Rocio Zorrilla as Hotel Director
She most recently served as the Senior Manager of Hotel Operations at Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California.
Ahead of the planned opening for its new hotel tower during the Spring of 2025, Jamul Casino in California has announced the appointment of Rocio Zorrilla as the property’s Hotel Director.
Zorrilla will lead Jamul Casino’s group of team members through the opening and beyond as well as exceed guest expectations during the day-to-day operations. As the first senior role hired for the new hotel, Zorrilla will be looked at to set the standard for the group of executives to follow.
“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to join this team of dedicated and hard-working individuals. I eagerly look forward to opening San Diego’s newest luxury hotel tower and curating a one-of-a-kind guest experience.” Zorrilla said.
She most recently served as the Senior Manager of Hotel Operations at Yaamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California. Her background includes leading diverse teams, optimizing guest experiences and overseeing complex operational aspects at the different properties she has been part of.

On July 16, the Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation, owned and operated by the Jamul Indian Village Tribe, announced a milestone in the construction of the new hotel tower. The Tribe celebrated with a topping off ceremony that saw the placement of the structure’s final steel beam on July 12.
