BetMGM is first iGaming operator to launch Light & Wonder slot, marking its omnichannel launch. It was previously available at Green Valley Ranch back in March.

BetMGM has announced that the operator will be launching Light & Wonder’s Dragon Train slot game exclusively in North American markets, including New Jersey, Michigan and West Virginia. This makes BetMGM the first iGaming operator to bring the game to North America.

In March, Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa and Casino (in Henderson, Nevada) launched the title exclusively on retail channels.

“BetMGM is honored and excited to be the first iGaming operator to bring Dragon Train to the US,” BetMGM VP of Gaming Product and Content Oliver Bartlett said.

“The game’s incredible performance in Australia set a high standard and we are confident that Light and Wonder has created a game that will captivate players online and on US casino floors.”

Dragon Train is Light & Wonder’s fastest-selling game in the Australian market since its debut and will be launching with a series of four titles, with Dragon Train – Chi Lin Wins debuting first.

“L&W is delighted to work with our long-time partners at BetMGM and The Borgata on a true cross-channel launch with Dragon Train,” Light & Wonder EVP and Head of Digital Gaming Dylan Slaney said.

“The game performance on the land-based side bodes extraordinarily well for the online debut of Dragon Train - Chi Lin Wins and we are sure iGaming players will enjoy the thrilling game as well.”

The slot features a 5x3 reel slot with four progressive jackpots, the Fortune Eight, Grand and Major. It also includes a Hold and Spin feature, new Sticky Reels and a Cash Cluster game.

The Dragon Train feature is activated if the player lands on an orb during the Hold and Spin feature. The player then spins a special mini-Hold and Spin to add more credits to their original win, and a chance at the Fortune 8 jackpot.

Dragon Train launched at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with an event for players and partners held on August 8 to celebrate, followed by a weekend of promotions.
