BetMGM received a Pennsylvania sports betting license in October through a partnership with Penn National’s Hollywood Casino. The company debuted its iGaming option in Pennsylvania on 4 December.
BetMGM’s app is now available in seven markets, joining West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana and Tennessee. The company is a joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain.
BetMGM partnered last month with the Pittsburgh Steelers in a deal that includes in-stadium promotions and signage and digital marketing assets.
Pennsylvania sportsbooks earned revenue of $48.5m in November with handle reaching $492m.
BetMGM has a lot of ground to cover to catch state leaders FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook, which combined for $293m of the state’s handle last month.
Penn National’s Barstool Sportsbook held steady at third place with $58m of handle.
