RSI debuts online casino and sportsbook in Peru
The move is another part of its strategic LatAm expansion plan.
RSI has launched its RushBet online casino and sportsbook in Peru. The operator says its RushBet debut in Peru represents “the next milestone” in its ongoing Latin American expansion plan.
Company CEO Richard Schwartz shared his thoughts on the recent launch by saying, “Expanding into Peru is a pivotal step in our mission to become a leading Online Gaming operator across the Americas. This move allows us to leverage our proven operational expertise in Latin America, particularly the brand equity and operational efficiencies we’ve built in the region over the past six years.
“Importantly, Peru shares key media markets with Colombia. Consequently, Peruvian sports fans are familiar with the RushBet brand through its presence on shared television networks including ESPN and DirectTV. In addition, Peru’s vibrant sports culture and growing digital economy present an exciting long-term opportunity for RushBet to offer our best-in-class product to a new and enthusiastic audience.”
RSI offers real-money mobile and online titles in several US states. The online gaming and sports entertainment company has broadened its North American market reach to include Ontario, Canada, as well as in Colombia and Mexico.
Rush Street first entered the Colombian market in 2018 and established its presence in Mexico in 2022.
Schwartz went on to note that the company believes expanding in Peru can enhance its overall presence in the LatAm region.
He commented, “We expect Peru to become a key component of our Latin American portfolio, complementing our operations in Colombia and Mexico, and providing a platform for potential further expansion in the region.
