TNN debuts ‘Hello and Welcome’ video podcast presented by Betway
Local Canadian sports media personalities Will Lou and Alex Wong will host the show.
The Nation Network (TNN) has launched a new video podcast for a Canadian audience called “Hello and Welcome with Will Lou & Alex Wong.” Presented by Betway, the podcast will focus on NBA coverage both on and off the court.
In addition to sports coverage, the show will host several annual community-centric events, designed to “grow basketball fandom in Canada and beyond.”
TNN will partner with Canadian basketball media personalities Will Lou and Alex Wong during the 2024 – 2025 season. The duo will host the video podcast, which will run three times per week.
Basketball media producer Jerome Cheng will lead the product team on this project.
Will Lou commented on the upcoming collaboration by saying, “My mission has always been to deliver the best content for Raptors fans. This is why I look forward to collaborating with Alex, who brings humor, perspective and ambition to the program. Additionally, Jerome is one of the most creative and accomplished producers in NBA media.
“In partnering with TNN, I truly believe this is the best way to build upon the independent coverage and commentary that Raptors fans expect from us.”
Wong took a moment to discuss his past work with Lou and said he is excited for what is to come.
He said, “Will and I have worked closely for a long time, but there is still so much we want to accomplish in the Raptors and basketball space.
“With Jerome joining our team and bringing his unique skillset to the show, and with the support of TNN, I’m excited to put together a program that’ll feel familiar to our dedicated listeners, but also new in many ways as we continue to push ourselves creatively.”
