Scientific Games names Beth Bresnahan as Chief Communications and Brand Officer

Scientific Games has appointed Beth Bresnahan to serve as its Chief Communications and Brand Officer.
This is a newly created company position. Scientific Games outlined the specifics of the role by saying, “The Chief Communications and Brand Officer is a new senior executive role that elevates strategic oversight of Scientific Games’ global communications, ensuring a unified and consistent voice and a strong representation of the company’s brand across all platforms and mediums.”
As the Chief Communications and Brand Officer, Bresnahan will be responsible for leading both internal and external communications, along with customer proposals. Her duties will extend to leading trade shows, advertising and events.
Bresnahan has almost 25 years of lottery industry experience, specifically in business strategy, marketing and communications development. She has worked in both the private and public sectors.
Bresnahan has also served in executive roles throughout her career. Prior to her time with Scientific Games, she held a position as the CEO of a regional print media outlet. While there, she worked with top brands like the Boston Red Sox, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Citizens Financial Group and Wynn Resorts to provide strategic communications consultation services.
She also served in leadership roles for nearly 10 years with the Massachusetts Lottery.
Bresnahan joined Scientific Games in 2022 and held the role of VP of Strategic Communications prior to her promotion.
Company CEO Pat McHugh took a moment to discuss Bresnahan’s new opportunity by saying, “This promotion will come as no surprise to those who know and have worked with Beth.
“Her strategic vision, extensive experience in brand communications and deep knowledge of Scientific Games and the lottery industry have earned her the respect and support of our entire company and leadership team.”
Scientific Games produces and manages lottery instant games around the globe. The company specializes in player loyalty programs, lottery and sports betting systems, digital lottery games and mobile apps.
The group is certified as a Responsible Gaming Supplier by the World Lottery Association. Through its Health Play program, the company “advocates for the healthy enjoyment of lottery games.”
