QMRA Quality Mark now available for Ontario affiliates
The province has had access to iGaming for two years.
Compliance Quality Mark for iGaming Affiliates (QMRA) has launched its Quality Mark in Ontario for affiliates within the Canadian province.
The company said in a statement, “The AGCO-regulated market Ontario, open to iGaming applications since 2022, is an interesting market for affiliates as well.
“After weeks of research, QMRA finished the Ontario Compliance Code. Therefore, Ontario iGaming affiliates are now able to join QMRA!”
The group was initially launched by XY Legal Solutions (XYLS) earlier this year. Since its debut, several affiliates have applied for the Quality Mark, including those in the state of Michigan and now Ontario.
Other affiliates from around the world, including those in Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Estonia and the UK have since joined. Game Lounge, Unilead, Leadstar Media, Applied Digital Media and the Gaming Innovation Group have come on board since the launch of QMRA.
The province opening its iGaming market in 2022. In the past two years since the province first welcomed legalized iGaming, the Ontario government has worked closely with AGCO and iGaming Ontario (iGO) to register eligible private gaming operators.
To date, the province has 47 registered iGaming operators to offer local players access to 77 regulated sites. This is compared to 49 operators and 72 regulated sites in Q3.
In other Ontario news, the province recently gained a new website from Casino Time, a full-service online casino.
Players now can access the online casino at CasinoTime.ca. The site features bingo, live dealer casino games and online slots.
Casino Time is affiliated with 10 charitable gaming entertainment venues throughout Ontario. The company said it anticipates launching a sportsbook later this year.
