Inspired Entertainment has launched its virtual sports product NBA Re-Play exclusively in Greece with its long-term partner OPAP.

OPAP is a gaming company in Greece and offers a wide range of games such as numerical lotteries, sports betting, passive lotteries and scratch cards, among other options.

Through their collaboration, OPAP is the first Inspired partner to officially introduce NBA Re-Play, which will be present at more than 3,000 retail venues.

Inspired has a deal with the NBA and National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) which allows it to develop virtual sports games and use archived footage.

The NBA Re-Play product features archived footage of all 30 NBA teams which users can wager on with the usual wagering options as any standard sportsbook.

Inspired President and CEO Brooks Pierce said: "We are thrilled that OPAP has chosen to add NBA Re-Play to their Virtual Sports portfolio. This product utilizes archived NBA footage to provide a unique virtual experience for fans around the globe.

“OPAP's decision to be the first to launch NBA Re-Play showcases their dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction. We look forward to continuing our strong collaboration.”

OPAP CEO Jan Karas added: “At OPAP, we put customers at the center of everything we do, always seeking ways to improve their gaming experience. The exclusive introduction of NBA Re-Play enables us to engage with our customers through fresh and exciting content.

“Greece is a country of basketball enthusiasts and we believe that NBA Re-Play is a great match to our portfolio, providing even more entertainment options at our retail stores.”

Inspired has today also released its results for the first quarter of 2024, showing a slight decline in revenue, with virtual sports dropping 20% in its revenue total.
