Kim Harris Jones to join Caesars Board of Directors
Harris Jones currently serves as a board member of United Rentals, TrueBlue and Fossil Group.
Caesars has announced the tenth member of its Board of Directors, Kim Harris Jones, previously of Mondelez International. The appointment is subject to required regulatory approvals and pending licensure.
With Mondelez, Harris Jones served as SVP and Corporate Controller until her retirement in 2015 and guided the company through its emergent stages after spinning off from Kraft Foods where she had held the same titles since 2009. These two companies were not the only ones she was SVP and Corporate Controller for, either, as she spent 17 years with Chrysler and worked her way up the ladder.
“Kim Harris Jones is a tremendous addition to the Caesars leadership team. With her extensive experience in finance and a reputation as a thoughtful and engaged leader inside some of the largest consumer-packaged goods and automotive companies, Kim’s addition will give us another lens through which to see stronger, more dynamic future possibilities for Caesars,” Caesars Chairman of the Board Gary Carano said.
Harris Jones has been recognized nationally for her achievements and advancements, having recently been named to the list of “100 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors” by BoardProspects Magazine. She has previously been named to the lists of “25 Women to Watch” by CFO Magazine, “75 Most Powerful Women in Business” by Black Enterprise Magazine and as one of “The 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors” by Savoy magazine.
