Title change comes after Bessette has served five years with the company and held the role of VP of Product.

Simplebet has named Andre Bessette as the company’s new CPO, responsible for driving product innovation in live betting experiences, ensuring continued operational performance and forwarding partnerships with sports leagues. Having been VP of Product for Simplebet prior to this move forward, Bessette was looked at to build the company roadmap of products that it continues to offer to partners today.

“Andre has played a key role at Simplebet for the last five years and we are delighted to appoint him as Chief Product Officer,” Simplebet COO Mark Nerenberg said.

“We have ambitious plans to expand our offerings over the next 12-18 months, and promoting Andre to CPO shows our commitment to winning with product, technology and innovation.”

Simplebet has partnerships with brands such as DraftKings, Caesars, bet365, ESPN Bet and Hard Rock Bet. The company is responsible for enabling fans to bet in real time on many sports. With millions of reactionary betting lines changing as games are played, the technology behind live sports betting must be instantaneous in order for users to place wagers without issue.

Before joining Simplebet, Bessette found roles as Manager of Analytics with DraftKings and Senior Business Analyst with Capital One. He will attempt to grow the micro-betting market of Simplebet under his new title.

”I’m thrilled to be appointed Chief Product Officer here at Simplebet, where we have already enjoyed a fantastic five years of growth and groundbreaking new product launches," Bessette said.

“The development of our live betting products is something that we’ve only scratched the surface of with our micro market leadership to date. It’s an exciting time to expand that live betting leadership to new product lines and give sports bettors the top-tier live betting experience that has been lacking to date in the US market.”
