Radio Hall of Famer Mike Francesa has renewed his multi-year partnership with Rush Street Interactive (RSI)’s BetRivers and will continue to deliver exclusive network and social media content.
Francesa’s success as a sports radio personality in the US is largely centred around the talk sport show Mike and the Mad Dog – of which he was a co-host for the show’s entire 29-year tenure, from 1989-2008. The show is widely regarded as one of the most successful sports talkshow endeavors in US history. Francesa also spent a decade working with CBS Sports as a Studio Analyst, hence, he is a highly regarded figure in New York sports radio.
Under his renewed partnership with RSI-owned and operated BetRivers, he will continue to host his daily show on The Mike Francesa Podcast, alongside a season of digital videos that are to be featured exclusively on the BetRivers platform. The content he will provide entails in-depth analysis in the form of game reactions, as well as frequent news updates. Francesa will also attend a series of meet and greets at BetRivers locations along the East Coast.
Francesa spoke on the renewal of his partnership, saying, “I am thrilled to continue my partnership with BetRivers, which in my opinion offers the best online sportsbook in the industry. Joining forces with the RSI team enables me to connect with fans in exciting and easily accessible ways, while providing insight and instant reaction to the biggest games to audiences not only in New York but across BetRivers markets nationwide.”
RSI CEO Richard Schwartz built on this point, stating, “We are delighted to have Mike Francesa, the undisputed ‘king of New York’ radio, renew his partnership with our BetRivers family of Brand Ambassadors.”
Earlier this month, BetRivers became the official sponsor of the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity series Dash 4 Cash race at Dover Motor Speedway in Delaware.
