Golf fans can place wagers through the casino sportsbook starting this weekend.

PropSwap has signed a deal with Harrah’s Gulf Coast to offer additional sports betting options to Mississippi golf fans. The duo will kick off its official collaboration this weekend, allowing players to place bets for the Masters event, as well as on other tentpole events throughout the summer.

PropSwap said in a statement, “This first of its kind partnership will drive higher handle and ticket count at Harrah's Gulf Coast from sports bettors, who will be utilizing PropSwap's nationwide secondary market.

“Customers will be incentivized to place additional wagers with the spirit of locking in profit early, by listing them for sale as their tickets improve in value.”

Under the terms of the partnership, Harrah’s Gulf Coast will represent PropSwap as its preferred Mississippi sportsbook.

PropSwap co-founder Luke Pergande relayed the company’s excitement to team up with Harrah’s Gulf Coast.

He commented, "Since PASPA was overturned in 2018, PropSwap has been uniquely positioned to provide a fun and more importantly, a margin improvement, to both sportsbooks, and their end customers. We are forever changing how people wager on sports.

“We're excited that Harrah's Gulf Coast shares that vision with us and are looking forward to the commencement of the partnership this weekend.”

In other state news, the Mississippi House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Trey Lamar recently announced that a bill to allow a casino in Jackson will not move forward.

Lamar decided not to move ahead with a vote due to lack of support.

Concerned lawmakers claim a new casino in Jackson could threaten the livelihood of casino workers employed at Mississippi River facilities.
