Interblock Gaming launches philanthropic arm 'Interblock Inspires'

Interblock celebrated the launch by participating in Gigi's Playhouse Las Vegas' GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge on Sunday, March 24.

Local electronic table gaming developer, Interblock®, proudly kicked off the company’s philanthropic arm, “Interblock Inspires,” with a team of Interblock employees participating in the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge on Sunday, March 24. This 5K fun run is put on by Interblock’s long-time charity partner GiGi’s Playhouse, which has a mission to increase positive awareness of Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. 

Global CEO of Interblock, John Connelly, strongly believes in giving back to the community and inspires his employees to do the same. Connelly serves as a board member for Gigi’s Playhouse and supported the opening of the first GiGi’s Playhouse Achievement Center in Las Vegas, which opened earlier this month. 

“With the launch of Interblock Inspires, our company plans to amplify our ongoing efforts, as well as expand our reach to other organizations around the community,” said Connelly. “We are so proud to support GiGi’s Playhouse at this weekend’s fun run and we are excited to continue our support and partnership with this great organization.” 

With a mission to support the local Las Vegas community, “Interblock Inspires” will comprise of a series of initiatives, monetary contributions and employee volunteer efforts dedicated to several causes and organizations including Gigi’s Playhouse, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
