  • FanDuel - For Q1 2023 FanDuel posted a 92% increase in revenue to $1.36bn, underscored by a 147% growth in sportsbook revenue and 43% revenue growth in iGaming. During Q1, FanDuel added over 1.5 million new customers and it cemented itself as the sports betting market leader in the US with 50% sports market share. FanDuel became the first and only sportsbook to offer wagering on horse racing alongside traditional sportsbook wagering with a single account and single wallet, allowing customers to wager on the Kentucky Derby, the Kentucky Oaks, and all the races from Churchill Downs on Oaks and Derby Days. In September last year, the company launched FanDuel TV and its new OTT platform FanDuel TV+, the first linear/digital network dedicated to sports wagering content.
  • BetMGM - BetMGM reported a strong financial performance in FY2022, with $1.44bn in net revenue surpassing its $1.3bn projection. In H1 this year, the operator turned profitable. Factors that contributed to BetMGM’s growth include product improvements, reduced customer acquisition costs and a better bonus strategy. Over the past year, BetMGM launched sports betting in three states and Ontario. In 2022, BetMGM was the market leading iGaming operator in the United States with an estimated 29% market share in four states. Most recently, BetMGM became the first operator to launch mobile sports betting in Puerto Rico, in partnership with Casino del Mar at La Concha Resort. It also became the Boston Red Sox’s first sports betting partner.
  • DraftKings - For Q1 2023, DraftKings reported revenue of $770m, an increase of 84% compared to Q1 2022, driven primarily by efficient acquisition of new customers, product innovation driving higher hold percentage, decreased promotional intensity in more mature states, and continued healthy customer retention. Monthly unique paying customers increased 39% to 2.8 million. In March this year, DraftKings launched the DK Horse app, its first horse racing product, in 12 states, allowing eligible customers to access pari-mutuel wagering on horse racing. The DK Horse app was developed in partnership with Churchill Downs Incorporated.
  • Jackpocket - Jackpocket is the first licensed third-party lottery app in the United States, providing an easy, secure way to order official state lottery tickets. By helping players participate in the lottery from the convenience of their smartphone, Jackpocket also helps state lotteries drive incremental revenue to fund essential state programs. In March this year, Jackpocket expanded its offering to desktop. In July, the company partnered with television personality Scott Rogowsky for its first live game.

The operator will be launching its standalone iCasino app later this year.
  • Rush Street Interactive - During this year’s first quarter, RSI made great strides towards profitability with much improved Adjusted EBITDA performance. The operator reported $162.4m revenue, a 20% YoY increase, driven by more than 100% growth in Latin America and new markets launched in North America after 2020. Both online casino and sports betting segments reported growth, however, RSI noted that a particular highlight is its increased casino market share in Ontario, Colombia and West Virginia. In April, RSI’s BetRivers brand launched Michigan's most exciting online slot tournament - the BetRivers Michigan Million. RSI also extended its proprietary squares engine to basketball, driving strong improvement in average bet size and more than doubling same-game parlays as a % of total bets. Last summer, RSI successfully launched its RushBet online casino & sportsbook in Mexico.
  • Betr - Betr is the fastest growing sports betting media brand in the US and the world’s first microbetting app that offers fans a new way to engage with sports. With its simple and intuitive user interface, Betr appeals to the mass market casual sports fan who has never bet on sports before. The company successfully launched sports betting in its first state, Ohio, in January, setting a US online sports betting record for fastest launch from company founding to a fully licensed & regulated real money betting product. It demonstrated strong audience to product conversion there, as it estimates to have already organically converted over 20% of its media audience in Ohio to its betting product. In May, Betr also launched real money gaming in Massachusetts, together with its micro-parlay product Scripts.
  • bet365 - Over the past 12 months, bet365, which is arguably the world’s largest online sports betting operator, launched in 4 new US states - Colorado, Ohio, Virginia, and Iowa. • PointsBet USA - PointsBet USA is a leader in live betting in the US. Late last year the company enabled a homepage feature of NFL Lightning Bets on the PointsBet app, leading to a 108% increase in Lightning Bets handle and 184% increase in unique customers using the product week over week. During week 5 of Sunday Night Football, NFL Lightning Bets were the most popular live markets and third highest in terms of handle. In May this year, PointsBet launched its horse racing product, PointsBet Racing, in 25 states - a market access reach which ranks in the top two among sports betting operators and top five among US horse racing apps. In June this year, PointsBet USA was sold to Fanatics Betting & Gaming for $225m after DraftKings also showed interest in the company. A rebrand to "PointsBet, a Fanatics Experience" is currently occurring.
